Giving the "Thumbs-Up"April 9, 2008- 20 weeks 2 days! Half Way There!!
We had our second ultrasound to make sure that the baby was growing and that all the organs were in the right spot and working properly. This ultrasound was longer and they took measurements of the size of the baby's organs and made sure that the heart was pumping, the kidneys were working and just do an overall assessment of the baby. I thought my bladder was going to explode but I made it through. The ultrasound tech said that everything looked good but she couldn't detrmine the sex, which was fine with us because we still didn't want to know, well we did, but made it a point to wait until birth.
