Just got a call from Dr. K and she is out of surgery, came out with the Aloderm patch and seems to be doing well just have to wait until she starts coming off the medication. We will be able to see her in about 45 min.
Getting back to normal!

Woohoo! Elli is one strong girl.
I was just able to check for the first time today and Miss Elli is already in AND out of surgery. I know it felt a lot longer to you both!
Praying for Elli's recovery, that she stays stable and just keeps improving.

Just got home from your moneypit. cutting trees, cleaning up outside. Trying to stay busy. Called Staci for updates. Thank you so much for the updates. Alot of people having a hard time concentrating knowing Elli is in surgery. Sooo glad it is over, now the healing! We love you

Great news! She is one strong little girl. We sure miss seeing you guys. I hope she has a calm night and you two can get some rest. (A very hard thing to do!!) Kirk and I had a very silly ritual while we were there...we rubber the "pig of good fortune's" snout every time we passed him. One hand for Elli and one for Meaghan. Our thought and prayers are with you and I really can't begin to tell you how many time today you and Elli crossed my mind. It is hard to find words when your kids are up there so I wanted to tell you that all of your caring glances meant more than any rah rah speach - I hope you feel the same. Lots of love to you all!!!! Praise God!Thanks so much for the updates. We are all so grateful for the doctors, nurses,and surgeons that hold such precious and precarious lives in their hands. With their care,such wonderful parents as you two and the literally thousands of prayers everyone has prayed and will continue to pray, little Miss Elli continues to amaze us with her strength. Brian and Cassi, I hope you can get some rest, you must be so frazzled. I love you all. I wish I could give you a hug.

So glad Elli made it through surgery and hopefully the two of you can relax a little bit tonight. We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers, as well as Elli and all the medical staff taking care of her. Just wanted to let you know that Melissa talked to her Mom and Elli's on a prayer chain in Illinois where she will be prayed for every hour on the hour 24 hours a day. Take care.

Thank God!!! He has been guiding the Drs. and showing you how many people care.
Talked to Dave and he said you got to see her but she is still under the sedation. She'll probably sleep quite a while since she didn't want to go to sleep and they had to keep upping the meds.
Ilove you all 3. Got to get back to work. Just on break.

Thank God!! Little Elli is such good proof that prayers are heard and answered! So good to hear that they didn't have to move her.. I am with you, seems like she has been hit with a lot lately! I guess she has been proving herself as well as she can!! YEAH!!! Don't forget to get some stress free down time (ie. SLEEP) for yourselves.. Thinking of you and continuing prayers!
